The claimed dry weight of 417 lbs ‘Dry Weight’ is straight from KTM’s press materials that were provided to us. They do not publish their wet weights. If my recollection serves me right, a 1090 wet weighs about 530 odd pounds where the 890 comes in at about 480 pounds. Truthfully the extra power you get with the 1090 over the 890 would more than make up for the weight difference, 20 extra ponies and 8 lb ft of torque.
