White Wolves will spawn fairly frequently in wolf areas, but they will have a pack with them, so be careful of that. The only non-replaceable animals are the legendaries. Where you'll find wolves, you might find the white ones. If you can get to the one mission that Takkar gets to Cleanse the River (or something like that, one of the villiagers (not one of the main NPCs)) will give you a quest that ultimately leads you to inside a cave.
You gain the ability to tame beasts once you finish the quest for Tensay, "Vision of Beast". There are a total of 17 beasts in Far Cry Primal that are tamable, 3 of which have a respective trophy for doing so. A list of tamable beasts is below: Dhole; Rare Black Dohle; Wolf; White Wolf; Rare Striped Wolf; Jaguar; Rare Black Jaguar; Leopard
This Rare Stripe Wolf is much stronger than the other wolves. If you want to have a Rare Stripe Wolf then you have kill the basic wolves in the area for this Strip Wolf to appear.
