Hi I have the same problem with my 2004 130bhp TDCi Mondy, a low freqency rattle on startup and also a similar resonance at about 1500 -1600 revs, other that that, its quiet and smooth and no other problems. My oil light goes out immediately on start up.

Can someone please confirm, On the Ford D6DG engine 2.0 tdci. are cylinders numbered 1-4 with no. 1 at the flywheel end ? are injectors numbered same as cylinders ? or in

I have a Mk4 Mondeo pre-facelift 2.0 tdci 140 and am having the following issue. Once the car's warmed up, under gentle acceleration or part throttle the car will judder like crazy between 2000 and 3000rpm. This doesn't happen if I floor it and stops if I lift of the throttle. It doesn't happen outside of that rev range either.
